Do We Have to Pay PA Sales Tax?

Unfortunately the answer is yes.  Honeybees are livestock.  We have been advised that anyone selling any number of livestock in PA is required to charge PA sales tax unless they are provided with PA Sales Tax Exempt Form Rev-1220 by the customer.  That includes purchasers from out of state.

If unsure if you are exempt, the following link may explain if you are eligible to submit the PA Tax Exempt rev-1220 form.
